Abandoned $4,000,000 Luxury Fire House

In early 2019 I was in an upper class neighbourhood in Toronto with Zenning with Zay checking out some locations in hopes of finding some abandoned houses.  We had hit a bunch & sadly were losing daylight when we arrived at this house.  I did a quick run through to see what it was all about so we could return later to explore if it was worth  while.  It was.

At 1am on January 23rd, 2016 Toronto Fire Services converged on a 2 alarm fire at this home.  The house was already heavily damaged with flames coming out of the side when they arrived on scene.  Entry crews went in to tackle the blaze as well, chainsaws were used to open holes in the roof to assist with extinguishing the blaze.  Fortunately nobody was home at the time & there were no injuries.

Thirteen months later the house was put on the market for sale as is with a price tag of $3,380,000.  The house has 2 bedroom above grade & 3 below with 4 bathrooms, a dungeon bar all on close to 3/4 of an acre park setting property.  The property could easily be severed to accommodate two large mansions & stayed on the market for six days before being purchased.  Since it was sold, it appears some work has been done on the house however I feel it will never be restored but rather demolished for either one massive mansion or two smaller ones.  That said, you gotta love that retro 60's wallpaper!!!
