Abandoned recreational facilities are closing down everywhere. Bowling alleys seem to be the most affected by this. Changing times, financial reasons & outdated facilities seem to be the driving force behind the recent trend. Another is the fact many of the facilities are in prime locations where developers want to build condos. Often times taxes are too high & the offer of large sums of money cannot be ignored.
