Located on a sprawling 100 acre lot sits this Abandoned Ontario Country Mansion!  On a blistering hot day, Zenning with Zay & I decided to check it out & we were not disappointed!

This Abandoned Ontario Country Mansion sits quietly on 100 acres of open fields and dense forest in rural Ontario.

The property recently sold to a developer for $40 million CAD, marking the end of its forgotten chapter.

Inside, many items were left behind, including furniture, toys, and exercise equipment, giving the home a frozen-in-time feel.

The mansion features reclaimed barn board and wooden beams taken directly from the old farm that once stood on the land.  Builders constructed part of the home on top of a stone foundation from the original barn, preserving its heritage.

One room contained two vintage barber chairs, adding to the unusual character of the abandoned property.

The most unexpected discovery was a seven-foot-tall ostrich made of papier-mâché and real feathers, standing awkwardly in a corner.

This strange piece left us both puzzled and amused, raising questions about the mansion’s past and its former residents.

Though the house will be torn down, its unique contents and design have already made a lasting impression.

The Abandoned Ontario Country Mansion stands as a reminder of how quickly luxury can fade and history can be forgotten.

In 2024 Freaktography & I explored this 1980s Abandoned Mansion in The Woods!  He mentioned he had spotted a potential spot on his way home from a camping trip.  As soon as he started describing it, I knew right away what he was talking about!  I had actually come across this place myself but not yet actually tried to explore.  So a plan was made to fianlly check it out!





The mansion was situated on the property of the family business that operated for nearly 60 years! What started out as a devote couple with a dream, flourished into a life-long successful business! Over the years the business grew to nearly 50 employees including multiple generations of the family!

The business continued after the patriarch f the family & co-founder passed away in 2019.   In 2023 it was decided that the family would sell the business after over half a century.  They were not only well liked, but also pillars in the community.  Support many community sports, schools, hospitals etc.

The business was sold & is up & running again however the family home sits.  The power has been long cut & nature is slowly reclaiming it.  This 1980s Mansion in The Woods will likely fall victim to Mother Nature.

After patiently waiting, we finally were able to explore this Huge Abandoned Ranch Home!  Zenning with Zay & I had checked on it two times previously.   We knew it was only a matter of time but both times we were too early.  Then in late 2024 my friend BrandonAbandoned let me know it was now complete abandoned!





This huge abandoned ranch home is in a neighbourhood that has been changing a lot over the years.  Many home have been demolished to make way for enormous mansions.  in fact, I even explored the one that was previously located next door!  Its actually pretty wild if you think a out it.  Entire neighbourhoods are being rebuilt.




Once we started to explore, it became quite sad.   We knew there had previously been elderly people living there, but didn't know the state of the place.  It seemed the roof was failing.  Strapping was in one room, seemingly keeping the ceiling from caving in.  This means that there was a lot of water getting in which also mean mold.   Mold can cause fatal health risks is left untreated.




In October 2023 this Huge Abandoned Ranch Home was put up for sale but as land only.  This is a very common practice with this neighbourhood.  In fact, the homes on either side are in the process of being completely rebuilt.  These 1 acre lots are highly sough after which is why this 100% tear down sold for just under 3.2 million dollars (CAD)!





The basement here seemed that it was likely flooded before the owners left. I suspect health declined rapidly which made it impossible to upkeep. I must say, it sure is sad to think that someone had been living in such conditions. Hopefully they are now receiving the assistance they were lacking.

Born in Kenya of Indian descent, Navin Chandaria's journey spans continents, marked by resilience and entrepreneurship. One of the last explores of 2023 was the Artist's Abandoned Custom Mansion!  Zenning with Zay & I wanted to head out for one more adventure for the year so we decided to check this place out!   It really was an epic explore!




Tucked away in the heart of the countryside lies an artist's abandoned custom mansion, a forgotten masterpiece frozen in time. The sprawling estate, once vibrant, now stands as a silent testament to the passage of creativity.

Built in the 1980s, the mansion's walls were adorned with murals painted by the artist himself. These vivid depictions of life's ephemeral beauty mirrored the transient nature of the artistic soul. The air, thick with nostalgia, whispers tales of gallery-worthy visions that have long been abandoned.

As one strolls through the deserted corridors, the remnants of the artist's passion are palpable. Colors that once danced in the sunlight now fade into a melancholic tableau. The custom-made furnishings, untouched for years, bear witness to the solitude that envelops this once-bustling abode.
