This Abandoned House with Luxury Cars was such an amazing find!  Zenning with Zay & I had come across this one before but never actually tried to explore it.  We often take the long way home, looking to see what we can find for future adventures.




When we first walked inside it was a good sign to see that awesome piano.  I immediately took out my camera & got down to business.  There wasn't a lot left behind & there were some areas wrecked from scrappers.  But as I moved around the house I was able to find some interesting little details.  I especially liked the decay in the kitchen area.  Very clear that this place had been abandoned for a long time!





As always, we save shooting outside until the end. That way if we are spotted, we can finish up & leave with a full explore complete!  I was shooting the front, when Zay headed over to the garage.  I then hear her say there are cool cars in the garage. Excited, I ran over to see what they were.  Sure enough there were cool cars!   A Cadillac & a Mercedes!   If anyone can tell me the year & model for these I would be grateful!  This was truly a surprising discovery making the Abandoned House with Luxury Cars a great way to end the day!

This Abandoned Red Brick Farm House was one that Zenning with Zay had pinned.  We didn't know  thing about it, but decided to have a look inside!



Nestled amid overgrown fields, the abandoned red brick farmhouse stands as a weathered testament to bygone eras. Veiled in mystery, its peeling paint and broken windows evoke a haunting beauty that beckons the curious.

As the sun sets, casting long shadows over the dilapidated structure, one can't help but wonder about the stories embedded within its walls. Built decades ago, it witnessed many season changes.  Hallways echoing with the laughter of children and the hum of a bustling homestead.





Silent now, the farmstead bears the weight of untold memories. The rustling leaves and creaking timbers murmuring tales of lives once intertwined with the land. Abandoned, but not forgotten, the red bricks still exude a warmth that transcends time.

The farmhouse's shattered windows, like vacant eyes.  They gaze out onto a landscape now claimed by nature. Wildflowers reclaim the once-tamed gardens, weaving a tapestry of colors against the backdrop of fading wallpaper.





Through the fractured floorboards, nature's tendrils reach into the heart of the house.   Embracing its solitude. Each gust of wind carries whispers of the past.  Gently lifting the dust of forgotten dreams that settled on the worn floor.

Yet, despite its desolation, there's an enduring charm to this forsaken homestead. The air is heavy with nostalgia, and the ghostly echoes of life that once thrived here still linger. The red bricks, chipped and worn, hold the secrets of a bygone era, patiently awaiting those who care to listen to the silent tales they tell.

Seemingly in the middle of nowhere is the Abandoned Hydro Company House.  The house stands as a silent sentinel, witnessing the slow decay of its own existence. The echoes of laughter and the warmth that once filled its walls have long since faded.  Leaving behind a haunting stillness.  So Zenning with Zay & I had to check it out!





Recently, this forlorn structure found itself in the hands of the hydro company. A fate dictated by the insistent hum of progress. The land it occupies has been deemed essential for the expansion of power lines that will weave through the landscape.  Connecting distant points with the lifeblood of electricity.

As the decision was made, the house, now devoid of life, became a mere spectator to its own destiny. The windows, once bright portals to the outside world, now stare vacantly into the surrounding wilderness. Nature, undeterred by human neglect, has begun its reclamation.  Slowly eroding the exterior with ivy and moss.

Inside, the decay is advanced & unforgiving. The walls, peeling and cracked, bear witness to the passage of seasons that were once celebrated within these very confines.

The acquisition of this decaying dwelling is a testament to the inexorable march of progress. The hydro company, in their pragmatic pursuit of efficient energy distribution, has repurposed the land. Leaving the house to bow out gracefully from the stage of human habitation.

In the hushed stillness, the house relinquishes its former identity.  Becoming a relic of the past. The decay becomes a quiet elegy, harmonizing with the hum of power lines that traverse the land.  Connecting communities while the abandoned house, now a mere silhouette against the skyline, fades into the tapestry of progress.  I am sure this Abandoned Hydro Company House will be left to decay & eventually collapse into itself.

On my birthday weekend road trip my amazing wife Zenning with Zay suggested we check out this Wealthy Farmers Abandoned House! It had been years since I was there & I didn't feel I did a good job so I was eager to reshoot it! Plus, I could now get a video!




One thing about revisiting  places is that things change.  Not just the location but how you see & shoot your shots.  Plus the lighting & seasons change so really you can get a totally new perspective.  For this revisit, it had been almost seven years!  On my first visit I only took a few shots.  At the time I wasn't really feeling it.  But this time around I was pumped!  I been digging the old classics lately & this one is so unique.  The stone work around the house is amazing!





It was clear from the outside that this place had several additions done over the years.  This is common as the family & wealth grows!  The more kids you had, the more free labour!  Once inside I did have a few faded memories of the place.  It mostly seemed the same upstairs.  In face the chair & skates had been in the same spot since I had placed them there!   Pretty surprising but confirmed when I looked at my older shots!





What did change in the Wealthy Farmers Abandoned House was the collapses.  There were two significant ones that had occurred.  The first was at the back of the house.  The whole wall had fallen into the crawl space!  As well, the laundry room had some catastrophic changes.





Aside from that it was pretty much the same as I remember it!  As sad as it is to see this place rot, at least its all natural.  Especially after seven years of Canadian winters!

This Classic Abandoned Farm House was a great warm up for the day!  Zenning with Zay  & I had both had previously explored it but some places are worth a revisit!




The house has been abandoned for a very long time.  I explored it on two other occasions but this was before I had my blog.  Looks like I will need to dig in the vault for the older explores for some comparisons!




I do recall from my first visit that there was a lot more things left behind.  In fact some rooms had been completely cleaned out.  There were also clear signs of organizing of items.





It was even more surprising that there was still virtually zero vandalism!  The only real damage here was all done by nature!  Considering this place is on a very busy highway it is surprising.  Then again, its also in the middle of nowhere so you would have to drive there to trash it.





The decay in the kitchen was better than ever! I certainly wouldn't want to be in there during the hot & humid summer months!  All that mold looks pretty bad but the cold winter temperatures kept it to a minimum.  This Classic Abandoned Farm House looks like so many others in this province that it becomes difficult to give them all a name.  I love the look & layout but am saddened to see it rotting away.  It could certainly been fixed up & saved.  You just need to find the right people!
