On New Years Eve in 2022, Zenning with Zay & I explored this Creepy Abandoned Home!





Nestled on the outskirts, a Creepy Abandoned Home whispers forgotten stories through shattered windows and creaking floorboards.

Abandoned long ago, it is adorned with mysterious Halloween decorations, including bloody footprints leading to hidden corners and a severed arm eerily displayed.




The air is thick with an unsettling silence, broken only by the occasional howl of the wind through cracked walls.  Decades have passed since life echoed within these walls, leaving only remnants of a bygone era.  Photographs, now weathered and faded, reveal a family that once called this desolate place home.





Visitors brave enough to step inside may feel a chilling presence, as if the spirits of the past still linger.  The atmosphere is punctuated by the hollow echoes of doors swaying on rusty hinges, opening portals to forgotten memories.

Halloween's macabre decorations add a surreal layer to the abandonment, transforming the mundane into a haunting spectacle.  Among the remnants of domesticity, one can't escape the feeling that the house itself is a living, breathing entity, eternally bound to its own melancholic history.

We were just rolling into a small town when I spotted this Abandoned House of Dolls.  At the time Zay & I didn't know about the dolls, but we found out pretty quickly once inside!





This house was actually a turning point for me.  It was here I decided I wanted to take less photos overall & focus more on quality shots.  I found I've been less interested in posting some place when there are mountains of picture to edit.  Especially when its just empty rooms.




That was how I used to shoot but lately I had been trying to please everyone with a full tour.  Seems like double work considering I film it all!  That said I feel I give a good tour & highlight on the interesting!  One thing that caught my eye was this trailer in the back with all sorts or moulds in it!  I suspect there was a shop on sit where they sold the art from!




Inside I focused on the things that I liked visually.  Natural decay is always awesome & this place delivered!  Plenty of paint peel!  Plus the wallpaper was pretty sweet too!





The upper floor was not very interesting at all.  I actually took more pictures than I expected.  I mean the stairs, bathroom & room with a television I liked.  But I guess I still felt a bit obligated to show the whole place.  But then it was time for the creepiness in the Abandoned House of Dolls!





In on room I found a pile of dolls.  Not gonna lie we arranged them for these pictures.  But the tall one was standing in a room when I first found it.  It certainly creeped me out!  The thing is the size of a small child!  Needless to say this was a great start to the day of exploring!

This Creepy Abandoned Farm House was definitely a cool spot to explore!  Thanks to Cherotica & Knifeguy for hooking Zenning with Zay & I up with it!





It was the second day of our road trip & we were moving a bit slow.  We had found a quiet spot the night before to car camp & have a fire.  Well, so we thought but that wasn't the case!  Just as we were getting ready for bed we could hear ATV's getting closer! Since it was midnight I assured Zay nobody was coming.  Within a minute there was side-by-side & ATV right there!  They ended up staying for a few hours & celebrating because it was my birthday!  Random friends in random places!





We were exhausted & low on confidence so we didn't really do much in the morning aside from some touristy type locations.  Those are all fine but we need something with some risk to give us that boost!  It was then that we got word on this Creepy Abandoned Farm House.  Well, at the time we didn't know it was creepy!





We did have Opie with us but because we didn't know what we were getting in to, we didn't want to risk it.  So the boy stayed in the car while we explored!  It was the right choice as this place had many hazards stuff he could get in.





There was so much stuff inside this place.  With old places like these, the last tenants usually are renters.  It seems that once the renters leave, they leave so much behind.  I suspect its due to down sizing or great financial loss.  I've seen it before with a place I called Rachel's House.




The main floor pretty awesome as well but there was a mess throughout.  Sadly some people feel the need to trash these places.  But there was still plenty of beauty & all around awesomeness here to make it an epic adventure!

While Zenning with Zay & I were out adventuring we spotted an abandoned house which turned out to be the Abandoned Clergy House!





This house is situated right beside an abandoned church & I imagine that at one point in time they were related to each other. Often times there is a house beside a church for the pastor to live in. As mentioned this was a random discovery & despite doing some digging, there really isn't much out there about it!





I started the explore off in the kitchen which was quite big which is common in older farmer houses originally owned by someone well off!! The other rooms on the main floor were a living room off a dining room, a family room & then a back storage area behind the kitchen.





From what I was able to piece together is that the last owners here were not associated to the church. The gentlman was a local woodworker & after passing in 2011, the remaining family moved out. The house has sat empty since slowly faling victim to the elements.





The upper level had four huge bedrooms & a bathroom. I especially enjoyed the bedroom where the paint chips rained down all over the floor!  As well, the hallway was tall & wide which also is common for the nice old homes. I figure it to be easily 100 years old as it would have been built around when the church was!  The house seemed quite normal but things were about to change.





I then headed up into the attic where I was shocked with what I was seeing. There was all sorts of artwork & magazines strewn around. Even some of the art was hung on the wall. I then turned around to see the alter boy gowns hanging. This was super creepy on its own as they were sort of ghostly figures. But it wasn't until after we left did it really bother us. It would seem that these were items left behind from when the church was in operation. It also seemed that the last owners had no idea that these things were up there. Now from the way things looked, these were hidden away in a secret storage area in the attic & someone brought them out to display. I hate to speculate about something awful happening, but it just seems so weird to have these items hidden away in the attic from a time before the latest owners lived there. Sure made for a creepy explore & shows why I named it the Abandoned Clergy House!

While out on a recent adventure with Zenning with Zay we came across what is now known to us as the Abandoned Séance House!





The Abandoned Séance House is located in a area that was heavily plagued but an arsonist during 2016 & 2017.  This beautiful old farm house had been abandoned since 2015.  In July of 2017 emergency crews were dispatched to a fire at the home.  In all there were 27 suspicious fires in the area at the time & most were at abandoned structures.  In 2017, a man turned himself in after realizing he was putting first responders lives at risk.

Of the 27 arsons set in the area, the man was eventually convicted in 5 of them.  This does not mean he didn't set more, it just means he was proven guilty for only 5.  This was not one of the arsons he was charged with.  He was later sentenced to 21 months in jail, 3 yeas probation & ordered to pay $39,000 to two property owners.





We entered through a wide open door in the back of the house. Immediately we could see that the house had a lot of spray painted nonsense on the walls. Often times I try to clean it up in photoshop, but the amount was excessive & I didn't feel like spending THAT much time editing. After only a few steps inside the main house it became obvious there had been a fire here.





Again I apologize for the vulgarity on the walls but there was just too much to clean up. It was also quite surprising that how badly it was tagged up for a such a rural place. As you can see, it was definitely a beautiful place. The stairs were absolutely gorgeous & also a death trap. It was evident that the fire originated in the basement & raged up through the basement stairs making the top floor, the stairs & parts of the kitchen very unstable.  So I never got to see what the upstairs looked like.  But, there was still one more room on the main floor & that's when thing became VERY weird.





What I believed to be the dining room was really weird. It was heavily tagged & also setup. But clearly not a normal setup. I have no idea wher any of the items came from but it seemed they were put there sometime after the fire. There was also cobwebs on some of the items but for the most part, it was fairly clean! I did notice a pentagram spray painted on the floor of the living room & there were quite a few candles around. It was highly likely this became a hangout for local kids & they likely fooled around with a Ouija board here in an attempt to talk to ghosts! Whatever the purpose was, it was super creepy & pretty cool explore!
