Abandoned Country Mansion with A Pool – DEMOLISHED

I was very lucky to get a chance to explore this Abandoned Country Mansion with A Pool!

In August 2018 I was out on a drive when I spotted a large white house with what appeared to be a fallen tree on it.  Parking up the road I decided to check this place out as the tree seemed to be a pretty big clue that the house was abandoned.  I made my way to the front to have a look inside to see if my instincts were on point & sure enough it was empty.  I began checking doors for a way in & after circling the house & feeling defeated I had one last chance on getting in.  There was a two car garage & I figured why not give it a try & see if one of the doors would open.  The first one i tried opened!!  I quickly slipped in & shut the door behind me.  Once inside I did a quick walk through & got down to business.

The first room I shot was a library of sorts that still had some encyclopedias left behind.  If my memory serves me correctly, the floors were a nice hardwood.  The main floor was in excellent, move in condition however the upstairs is where one could find the decay.

The roof was rotten & holes had formed allowing the elements to ravish the insides of this gorgeous country mansion.  Unfortunately I have not yet found any history on the home but I will continue to search to see what I can find.   Within the last few weeks I was in the area & decided to see if it still stood. All that remained of this beautiful home was a empty muddy lot with a few piles of dirt & a lone excavator.  Be sure to check out the video as I didn't take pictures of every room!
