Sitting on a huge property in a Muskoka town is this Abandoned Dream Home. Zenning with Zay & had been out driving randomly when we spotted the fallen tree & then the house behind it!
The Abandoned Dream Home sits on several acres of land right near a busy intersection. This high visibility has not treated this place very well. There is a well worn path leading from a neighbouring gas station, through bushes & to the house. I suspect the local kids go to the gas station & grab darts & head on over to the house to smoke, drink & be teens!
Once inside it was a sad site. The place had been pretty well destroyed. But like I mentioned, its in a high visibility area which means places like this don't last. Here we look at the kitchen, family room, main floor bedroom & what is left of the upper floor. Its all in extremely bad shape!
Normally these places don't really interest me but there was one room that we had to shoot! The hot tub room in the Abandoned Dream Home was pretty awesome! With beautiful woodwork on the walls & ceiling & a hot tub surrounded by windows! This would have been a pretty sweet spot to chill & watch the snow storms that northern Ontario is known for! It's a shame this place is so trashed & from what I heard, it was once a time capsule just a couple years back.
