This amazing abandoned Catholic Church is located in a rural area of Ontario. The church dates back to the mid 1800's as does the cemetery behind it. Some of the tombstones have have dates up until 2007 which is roughly around the time the last service was held here.
I had randomly come across this church while looking at a map & knew I had to check it out! Even just for the exteriors which I will never post to ensure it remains safe from vandals & looters. I really had no idea if it was an active church & if not, would I be able to get in. Fortunately for me I was able to easily gain entry & was shocked when I went inside!
There was absolutely no vandalism & the natural decay was amazing! Plus the architecture, wood work, pews & altar were incredible! I had truly found an explorers dream location here!
Where is this ontario church? Interested in possibly a restoration project.
